Slicing Through The Shadows / Music Interpretation Parameters
[OBJECTIVE] Design a music poster that is based on the feeling and rhythm presented by the typography, light, and materials. This project is about developing a harmony of visual space that includes typography, digital images, and texture materials. The objective is to create the abstract image and describe how typography works with elements in both 2D and 3D. [APPROACH] The song I chose is 2020 by Suuns who is a Canadian rock band that mix Krautrock and Neo-psychedelia music. To describe the feeling of the music, the typography overlaps, separates, or twists. I was focused on the reflection of the light and how it changes when projected on different materials, such as paper, metal, glass, water, plastic, etc.
